Aloha kâua:
may there be friendship between us
Perhaps
All roads lead to yoga.
Started the journey...
Born in Chi-town, moving to Arnold Maryland for 17 plus years. After some time spent as a rambunctious teenager with a wondering spirit, I took a vacation with the Grateful Dead and they dropped me off in Eugene Oregon.
Among the trees, awesome friends, family and teachers, I soaked up raindrops of knowledge:
BA in Dance, contact improvisation, yoga, lighting design, faculty of U/O Dance Dept., wilderness, rock climbing, surfing (yes I learned to surf in Oregon) wilderness emt school, organic farming, anatomy
15 years of Oregon (rain) beauty led me to Santa Cruz Callifornia
Co-teaching rock climbing & co-managing at Pacific Edge paved a co-teaching personal dynamic ready for discoveries of CircusYoga & AcroYoga in combination with a further investigation of playful adventures & elemental balance
I found a place where circus skills are full of yogic awareness, with the potential for radical self-acceptance.
Running away to join the CircusYoga Tribe was a brilliant decision!
My teaching has become infused with playfulness and acceptance for the uniqueness we each bring to our communities.
CircusYoga is awesome and I am honored to be on this journey sharing this amazing, aloha spirited practice.
