where I live: Nantucket, MA
where I teach: Anywhere! Mostly, Nantucket, MA, and the NYC tristate area. In schools, libraries, museums, private homes, public spaces, inside and outdoors.
what I practice & teach: At present, I teach Dance(sing)movement to children ages 10 mos through 7 years, Yoga for all ages, and CircusYoga. I teach movement and yoga to children with special needs, in groups and individually. I create and run programs and parties for schools, camps, libraries, families, corporate groups, non-profit organizations and private clubs, as well as offering classes open to the public. I facilitate professional development workshops for educators interested in incorporating movement in the classroom.

Theatre training includes coursework at: Shakespeare and Company, Lenox, MA. Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, London. Stagedoor Manor, Loch Sheldrake, NY. Neighborhood Playhouse, NYC.
Over the years, I have studied various styles of yoga, dance, and movement with many teachers at many studios.
my experience:
For over two decades I have worked with children, adults and families teaching movement, dance, yoga and acting. I have worked as a dance therapist for therapeutic recreation programs, at special needs preschools, on an acute child/adolescent inpatient psychiatric unit, and an adult mood/disorder and geriatric inpatient psych unit. I co-founded and was co-director of the Nantucket Short Play Festival in it's early years.
my influential teachers: There are so many! This is just a pinch of sand from the vast beach of those whose teaching influences me. My family, the island and community of Nantucket, Jack Romano, Nancy LaNasa, Sheri Perelman, Erin Maile O'Keefe, Kevin O'Keefe, Karen Kohn Bradley, Nana Koch, Pat Altomare, and everyone who has ever attended any of my classes.
