Pompanuck Farm is a not-for-profit educational center established in 1991. Situated on 78 acres of field, forest and streams, Pompanuck is nestled in the hills of eastern NY bordering Vermont, and surrounded by 3200 acres of state forest. The buildings are constructed with natural, alternative techniques-cordwood masonry and straw-bale. Pompanuck Farm provides a powerful and nurturing setting for small group workshops, classes and retreats.
Our teacher training group will have exclusive use of Pompanuck Farm's retreat facilities and environs. Accommodations are assigned on a first-registered, first-served basis. We encourage you to sign up early.
Pompanuck rates include accommodations and organic, farm-fresh, vegetarian meals from Thursday dinner through Sunday lunch. Facilities include shared baths, library, practice room, kitchen, a spectacular sauna building, spring-fed swimming pond, organic vegetable and flower gardens, and 78 acres of hiking trails.
Bodywork and child care are available during retreats--inquire in advance of your visit. Also, please let Pompanuck know, in advance, of any food allergies or special dietary needs you have.
Pompanuck Farm is one hour from Albany Train Station and Airport, and 3.5 hours from NYC, Boston and Montreal. See map. Please contact Pompanuck about shuttle service and fees from Albany.
