Yoli Maya Yeh

 
 

Yoli Maya Yeh (Ma Kurukulla Prajna) is a life-long spiritual seeker whose seriousness led her to the Cattaragus Reservation (Seneca) as a teenager, student and soon to be lineage holder of Grandmother Twylah Nitsch of the Seneca Wolf Clan. With her encouragement and support, Yoli embarked on a new phase of life, study and inquiry in India and Indo-Tibet.  Completing Yoga and Yoga Therapist Certifications, entering Tibetan language translators school and eventually ending up at the door of a Vajrayana Buddhist Yogi, Yoli's eight years in India have shaped the unique teaching that Yoli shares with all ages and abilities. 

Yoli's life as a performer began during her elementary school years with drama and percussion studies. She has continued to utilize these skills for enjoyment and profession. From African and Indian drumming to puppetry and ritual dance she makes very little difference from her inner and outer practices. 

An avid meditator, yogini, dancer, drummer, fun-maker and educator, Yoli believes in a concept of the Yogic Classroom where easygoing yogic structure and discipline create a positive, non-competitive learning environment where children of all needs can learn in the ways that best suit them. Yoli teaches yoga, comparative religion and global culture to  kids ages 3 and up in the yoga class and also a formalized homeschool study courses. You may also find Yoli teaching these subjects in elementary, middle, high schools and at the undergraduate level. 

After healing her broken back with Yoga Therapy, Yoli has devoted herself to presenting Yoga Therapy to the public in order to bring healing back into the hands of people.  Both pain and modern medicine takes us out of the body. Yoga and meditation gets us back in.  Yoli has found great success helping people with all sorts of ailments, disorders and disease including depression, cancer, fertility, back pain, anxiety, insomnia, ADD & ADHD, autism and much more. Contact Yoli to find out how she can be of help to you and your family too!
